Sian Goodwin, BSc (Hons), MBAcC, FdSc, DipObsGyn.
Welcome to Grimsby Acupuncture. My passion for acupuncture began whilst looking for therapies to assist my mum with her menopause symptoms; on reading more about Chinese medicine and acupuncture I was immediately hooked, this led me to Study a BSc (Hons) Acupuncture, consisting primarily of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Prior to practicing acupuncture I have had 20 years of experience within military (RAF) and NHS healthcare and hold a FdSc in health and social care management.
I am passionate about providing safe, high quality care for all of my patients; empowering and supporting them in their health, wellbeing and quality of life through traditional Chinese medicine. I am actively committed to ongoing professional development and post-graduate education. I love supporting people with all conditions but have a particular interest in woman's and men's health. I have undertaken a post graduate Diploma in Gynaecology, Fertility & Obstetrics enabling me to be affiliated with the acupuncture fertility network. I have also undertaken training in Balance Method acupuncture and Master Tung acupuncture.
When not working, I am mum to two girls, Casey and Georgia and wife to Michael who works for East Midlands Ambulance service. We enjoy going out for walks as a family, being active & just generally having fun.
The Clinic
The clinic can be found within Blossom Chiropractic, a beautiful and calming space perfectly located between Grimsby and Cleethorpes, situated on Altyre Way, just next to Cleethorpes Tesco. This newly built building offers onsite free parking and has disabled access. All rooms have built in ventilation, are sound-proof, and are further ventilated and sanitised between each patient, allowing for a COVID safe environment.
Also working within the building is Jo Sedaghat of Blossom chiropractic who provides chiropractic treatment for both humans and animals.
